God Is Working for Your Good

Romans 8:28 (NIV)
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

Reflection

Romans 8:28 offers hope when life does not make sense. There are seasons when you may look at your circumstances and wonder why God allowed something to happen. Disappointment, loss, unanswered prayers, and unexpected changes can make it difficult to understand what He is doing.

Yet this verse reminds us that God is still at work.

It does not say that everything that happens is good. Some experiences are genuinely painful, unfair, and difficult. Instead, it assures us that God can work through all things for the good of those who love Him. What looks like a broken piece of your story today may become part of something you understand more clearly later.

When you cannot see God's purpose, you can still trust His character. He sees the complete picture while you can only see one moment. His plans are not limited by your present circumstances.

Perhaps you are waiting for an answer right now. Maybe a door closed that you desperately wanted to remain open, or something you hoped for did not happen. Do not assume that the end of one chapter means the end of God's plan for your life.

Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep moving forward with faith.

God can bring purpose from your pain, growth from your struggles, and hope from seasons that once seemed hopeless. You may not understand everything today, but you can rest in the truth that God has not stopped working.

Trust God even when you cannot see what He is doing. Your story is still in His hands.
